Vinification: This Chardonnay is fermented and aged in tight-grained, medium-toast French oak barrels, ensuring slow even extraction of the oak.
The wine was aged "sur-lies" for 10 months and went through an additional secondary malo-lactic fermentation. It was cold stabilized, bentonite fined and was filtered prior to bottling receiving 10 months bottle aging prior to release.
Tasting Notes: Our barrel fermented Chardonnay has a rich gold color. The aroma and flavor profile includes pineapple, green apple and tropical fruit along with sweet vanilla oak flavors. This Chardonnay has concentrated fruit character, an appealing mouth feel and a lingering finish.
